Our name

Chilli, lime and everything in between

Ají is the Peruvian chilli: golden ají amarillo, smoky ají panca, fiery rocoto. It gives our food warmth and colour. Limón is the lime that "cooks" a ceviche in minutes and wakes up every dish.

Together they sum up how we cook: bright, generous and full of flavour. Our kitchen covers the Peru we grew up with, from the coast's ceviches to the criollo dishes of Lima's home kitchens and the Chinese-Peruvian wok.

Our dining room is warm and simple, with wooden tables, Peruvian art and room for long family lunches. It's a place to eat well, celebrate and feel at home.

Peruvian cuisine

One country, many kitchens

Peruvian food blends Andean ingredients such as potatoes, corn and ají chillies with Spanish, African, Chinese and Japanese influences. You'll taste all of them on our menu.

Fresh seafood and lime: ceviche, leche de tigre, jalea and parihuela.

  • Criollo

Lima's home cooking: ají de gallina, seco con frejoles, causa and tamales.

  • Chifa

Chinese-Peruvian wok cooking: lomo saltado and arroz chaufa.

  • Nikkei

Japanese-Peruvian fusion, like our makis acevichados.

  • The Andes

Native ingredients: yellow potato, Peruvian corn and lúcuma.
